I was able to work on my project a little last week and some of the weekend, except I was busy with friends and family most of the weekend. I will continue to work on my project this week and possibly start working on my presentation.

This weekend I was able to finally do my interview since the person I was interviewing had been out of town for quite a while. I will be working more on my product this week and working on my interview reflection.

The person that I am interviewing has been out of town for a couple of weeks now so I am waiting on him to come back so that I can finish the interview. I was able to work on my project a little bit last week, but not much. Right now I am still learning more about Photoshop and continuing with my practice. I haven't been able to create very many pictures but hopefully that will change in the next 3 weeks.

Weekly Reflection

This weekend I was unable to do my interview since I was out of town, and I didn't get much done on my project. Hopefully I can get my interview done soon so I can post it. In the meantime I will be continuing to work more on my project and getting more done.

Weekly Reflection #4

I haven't been able to get much done since I have been busy helping my parents move into another house. I have been writing down my interview questions that I will be using, and will also be setting a time for the interview. There has been some progress in my project, and I feel that it is coming along okay.

I have been working on my interview questions that I will be using in my interview with the expert that I have chosen. I need to bring these questions to my teacher for approval before I can begin the interview. I am also still working on my Pitch video for my project and will be completing it soon. All week last week I was researching and practicing different methods within Photoshop and creating practice pictures.



Weekly Reflection

 

I found the book that I will be using for my research on Amazon and have begun to read and study it. I will be using it as a guideline to find out what I do or don't need to know to start learning Photoshop. Also I will be scheduling an interview the expert of my choice who is a friend of my father. I will be asking him questions related to Photoshop and what job opportunities will be available to me if I chose this for my career.

My 20% Project

20% Project

For the 20% project, my goal is to create a series of abstract art images by using certain Adobe apps such as Photoshop and Illustrator. I will learn how to use these programs by teaching my self and getting instruction from an expert, who I will also use for an interview.

One of the main reasons I am doing this project is because one of my interests in college is graphic design, and by learning ahead of time about these apps and how to use them, I will already have a basic knowledge and be ahead of most students.
